The Best Beauty Blogs to Follow in 2020

Hair inspiration is everywhere if someone is looking with an open mind, and sometimes it’s difficult to choose a favorite where there are so many options! Here are some of our favorite social media accounts and blogs to follow when we need a hair spark in my life.

Luxy Hair Extensions’ website has some of the best hair inspiration out there. They feature a variety of content on their Instagram page, YouTube channel, and beauty blog that ranges focuses on both the stylist and consumer. This opens up the opportunity to better consultations and communication with clients and being able to create their hair goals.

Confessions of a Hairstylist by Jenny Strebe is a fantastic place to go outside the typical styling boundaries with a variety of braids, updos, and ponytails blog and video tutorials that will motivate a master cosmetologist or freshly graduated students. Jenny also features artists to keep an eye out for monthly! Her Instagram page is another place to get daily visual inspiration in your feed. She posts most of the styles she creates through IGTV as they support longer videos where Jenny goes into more detail about the look.

Knot_ Professionals consist of a fun, duo named Kacey and Sandy! True to their name, they are (k)not professionals, but their Instagram feed would surely make someone think twice! These two ladies were tired of being in the same hair rut and took it upon themselves to start learning how to recreate their favorite salon looks at home.

Kacey and Sandy share Instagram Stories of updo inspiration, and they are true to themselves by showing that styling is not as easy as everyone thinks! Recommend their page to clients if they want to experiment with more styles and check out some of their work below.

We recommend Hair Romance if the salon sees a lot of curly-haired guests. The looks Christina creates are realistic and achievable for people with very loose curls or defined coils.

She posts regular hair tutorials and has some great advice for at-home maintenance for curly hair. Her blog covers everything from the kind of styling products clients should use to keep their locks moisturized and frizz-free to how to use these products for the best everyday results.

The world of social media is able to provide inspiration and creativity from the push of a button. Make the most out of the diverse amount of content available to elevate your craft!
